A Komati Foundation Project
Service projects: There is no true leader who does not have a concern for others. That is why it is so important -- and probably even more so in South Africa -- to promote amongst students and young graduates a personal interest in social problems (poverty, illness, old age, loneliness, unemployment, crime, HIV-AIDS, etc) and to shape their characters so that they perceive that they are involved in the progress of society.
Many of the students who attend activities at the Forestown Study Centre are involved in periodic visits to poor, sick and elderly people. In some townships and rural areas the following activities are being prepared in collaboration with local entities:

Supplementary classes in selected subjects

Supporting activities for children

Work Camps -- community service projects
