Forestown Study Centre
A Komati Foundation Project

Forestown Study Centre is an educational project established by the Komati Foundation (a non-profit association incorporated under Section 21 of the Companies Act, South Africa) to assist young men studying in Johannesburg to develop professionally, to form good human and spiritual ideals as well as to provide them with opportunities to serve society.

The Centre aims to provide future leaders of the 21st Century with perspectives far beyond their particular specialisations, enabling them to use their qualities responsibly and generously.

The impetus for this project stems from the clear need in our society to create a framework for the education of youth who can lead society in a responsible manner, while being exemplary in the ethical, professional and social fields.

The goal is to shape role models to be imitated, not mere figures to be admired, such that they win people over with their conduct and their example.  Thus, the human, spiritual and character-development training that the Centre offers does not replace formal education, but rather complements it.

The activities of the Centre are open to people of all races, creeds and social backgrounds.
